Dear Friend,

Business Cards…

These little pieces of cardboard should be called Marketing Cards – because they don’t just contain your contact details.

They are in actual fact a Marketing Event for your business. Note – I didn’t say marketing opportunity. It is an event because it is happening whether you like it or not. The trick is not to waste this marketing event.

Business Cards are a chance for you to show off your business to your new prospect.

When you design your business card – or redesign you business card after you read this, make sure they impact. Have your Vision or Unique Selling Proposition written on the flip side (the back of the card), or maybe an offer of some description. 20% discount or first consultation free. Something to help your prospects across the line to becoming clients.

Like always, you need to be noticed. You business card needs to stand out in the pack.

Don’t waste the little marketing event which occurs when you give out your business card.

Oh… and one last thing… make sure you give them to everyone! Some people give out two so they can pass it on to a friend. As always test this.

Happy Marketing,
James

PS. If someone is happy with the product/service and its delivery – you never know who your “Marketing Card” might get passed on to.
